The Broadband 2021 Workshop will be held at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Arlington, VA.
NSF is located at 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22230, with its main entrance on the corner of 9th and Stuart St. All visitors to NSF must check in and receive a badge at the Visitor’s Desk, located at this main entrance on the first floor. Important information on visiting NSF can be found on their special visitor’s page.
Upon entering the building, all workshop attendees will be required to show photo ID to obtain a badge. You should wear the badge at all times while in the building and use the badge both days.
Directions are available on the NSF website.
Please note, if driving to NSF via highway 66, be advised that during commuting hours (eastbound AM, westbound PM), the highway (all lanes) may be restricted to high occupancy vehicles (HOV) only. Check directions carefully.
For those unfamiliar with the area, Arlington VA is just over the river and a short metro ride from Washington DC. There are many fine hotels either in Arlington or Washington DC.
Participants eligible for travel funding (as noted in your invitation) will need to follow instructions distributed by Laura Verinder (firstname.lastname@example.org). In addition to various receipts, you will need to fill out, print and scan the Penn State non-employee travel reimbursement form (or one we partially filled ) or we will have forms available at the workshop.
